February 20th, Wednesday

Strong winds in the face of our ship made the morning walk tougher but it was worth the exercise. All the people familiar with the area we’re sailing through, the Tasman Sea, is the roughest in the world. Things calmed down later in the day and I went to another lecture of Rita Moreno’s in the morning and a string quartet and trumpet recital in the afternoon. Chris spent the afternoon fixing one of her dresses that’s too big.

Afternoon recital was great, the Paradise String Quartet accompanied by a trumpet in a few numbers. Dinner was uneventful and the entertainment was a vaudevillian who was mediocre at best. We called it and early night to get ready for Melbourne.
