Honolulu – moved the clocks back another hour – that puts us 5 hours behind the east coast. In another week we lose a day when we cross the international date line. Since it’s a leap year I guess that makes us even.
Weather is cloudy with occasional showers, but we had a good day. Pearl Harbor, the Arizona Memorial then around the island to the wet side and back to the city for a brief tour. The ship is docked right near a shopping area so Chris got herself an Hawaiian dress, I got a newspaper and a frappacino at a Starbucks while she shopped.
Went to an afternoon show of Hawaiian children performers that was outstanding. Dinner was casual (no tie) and our dinner companions are starting to loosen up so we had more laughs tonight.
Entertainment was a Frank Sinatra imitator who was pretty bad.
On towards Pago Pago (American Samoa).
