When I finished my morning walk and met Mike and Lito for my coffee, other guests started coming over and addressing my as Duke and even curtseying. I’m going to have to walk around with sun glasses on so as to avoid the attention.
We went to morning lecture by Kathy Reichs who is a forensic anthropologist and a mystery novelist and is the model for the tv program Bones. She was funny and a good speaker. Lunch right after that and met a couple from Florida and two ladies from Adelaide Australia and had interesting discussions on all kinds of topics. Everyone is in agreement that the smog in Hong Kong is a lot worse than ever before.
The afternoon was relaxing. Chris went to the display of Jade at the jewelry shop (no sale) and I went to the recital of a new Pianist who arrived on-board in Hong Kong. Read the rest of the afternoon while Chris worked on her project and napped.
No big events at dinner and we had no interest in the evening entertainment – a harpsist – and we wanted to rest up for tomorrow – a full days excursion in when we dock in Chan Mai and go to Hue, Vietnam.
