After docking in Port Kelang Thailand we were bused to Kuala Lampur for some sightseeing. While we stopped at some interesting locations, we didn’t really see anything special except the Petrogas Twin Towers. It was raining when we stopped there so our pictures weren’t very good.
At Independence Square I was asked by another tourist to take her picture (apparently because I was using a Nikon like she had, not a point and shoot) as a result I got her to take our picture also.
Both Chris and I were tired after our day in Singapore and today without a rest day at sea but determined to press on tomorrow. We had a new couple join us at dinner, they’re young (relatively), they must be in their 50’s. We started off well and it was an entertaining dinner. They live in Montana but have a house in Aruba where they live in the winter. They scuba dive and have had an interesting time on board. They got on in Aruba but had to leave in LA because of cabin problems that could not be fixed. After formal complaints to Cunard. They were offered a new cabin and flown from Aruba to Hong Kong to rejoin the cruise.
The entertainment was a female singer who was entertaining. She sang romantic ballads as well as opera.
