Another boring, beautiful and restful day at sea. The sun was up before I took my morning walk and by the time I finished it was warm. Chris had a good nights rest and we both seem recovered from yesterday’s long day. I forgot to mention that Chris took a fall at Job’s tomb. She lost her footing on a step when I wasn’t looking and although all she got was a small bruise on her elbow, she was feeling the effects later last night. Fortunately a good night’s sleep helped and there was no other damage.
Our acquaintance Lito (and now good friend) from the Isle of Wight has warned us that the ground at Luxor is very rocky and we should wear good walking shoes. I bought Chris a walking stick (which she wasn’t using yesterday when she fell), so I’ll make sure she uses it. Apparently 800 passengers are making the trip to Luxor and 40 more people on the waiting list to stay overnight. I’m glad we made our reservations so early.
Not much going on today. I edited my photos and updated my blog and other than that we rested. I went to the afternoon recital of a violinist and pianist. They were very enjoyable.
I forgot to practice my golf today so I’ll have to make up for it tomorrow.
Dinner was enjoyable and we chose not to go to the entertainment and so called it an early night again.
