On the way to Dubai and disappointed that the tv doesn’t carry either the biggest day of racing from Dubai or the Florida Derby for 3 year olds from Gulfstream park in Florida. Didn’t matter though, I was able to handicap the races and even see one or two on the internet.
All our breakfast and lunch companions were Americans and we had some interesting conversations about the presidential races and our impressions of India. I got a very pleasant surprise when I went to weigh myself. I last did that in Honolulu almost 2 months ago and was surprised when I found I had lost 6 piunds; and that was right after lunch!
No big things going on today – our dinner companions still have not shown up from their side trip to the Taj Mahal. Hope their ok because we haven’t seen them around the ship either.
We were disappointed in the entertainment again. The hype was for the singers and dancers to do a celtic oriented show, but it ended up being another showcase for the feature dance couple. Too much dance and very little singing even though it would have been a good opportunity for some good Irish and Scottish songs. I think the reason is that there is a dance couple who are the leads and they must have a lot to say about show content.
